Library

The Main Library of Govt. SMS PG College was established in 1963. Presently, besides the main library, it also serves the college community through 13 Departmental Libraries. The Library has vast collection of 80 thousand plus books, ranging from curriculum based books to reference books to general books. Besides the physical collection, the library also provides the access to nearly 1,64,300 e-books through INFLIBNET’S N-List. In order to keep the college community informed about the current developments in various fields, the library subscribes 10 research journal, 10 magazines and six daily newspapers (4 Hindi and 2 English). The college library also houses twenty computers in its e-library with access to Internet. Library also encourages BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) concept by providing free wi-fi services to its users.
